Great quarter final this. The first half was end to end, both teams creating but it was the Sky Blues who had the advantage at the halftime, 2-0.

Coventry started the second half stronger and extended tpo 3-0, only for Rugby to respond to keep themselves in the hunt, 3-1. Coventry dominted the next 10 to 15 minutes and puit things out of Rughby's reach effectively. Rughby did not give up though and gave themselves hope with two fine goals, 5-3. Coiventry wraped things up with a final goal 5 minutes from time, a game that took our breath away.

This was probaly our best performance of the season, showing great commitment and desire throughout the squad.

Friendly 18/12/05

A cold and frosty day gave us a slightly frosty piych, on which Coventry opened the scoring with a well worked headed goal. Warwick were excellent though and fought bacl to lead 2-1 at halftime

Team for this game

Coventry looked an accomplished outfit in this open cup first round affair and rarely looked troubled against spirited Sandwell team. After being 4-0 up at half time, the Sky Blues extended their lead and ran out comfortable winners. Rugby in the quarter finals though will be a tough task. City must keep their feet on the ground and continue their good run of form to progress further in this competition.

Bilton Ajax 0 - 6 Coventry City Ladies
League 30/10/05

Team for this game

The pitch for the game was quite muddy - very muddy in fact. The game was a lot closer then the score line suggest Bilton created chances and are an excellent team, but Coventry defended brilliantly and did not concede - solid At the other end the Sky Blues created and finished equally as good. At half time it was 4-0 and this turned into 6-0 to leave the manager absolutely chuffed to bits - our best performance so far. We are still top of the league.

Coventry City Ladies 5 - 8 Solihull Ladies
League 9/10/05

Team for this game

What a game, Hardy's return began uncomfortably for her with Coventry breaking spectacularly into a first half 4-1 lead; things looking good. Solihull showed their metal though and nicked two goals back just before the break. Half time 4-3.

In the second half Solihull showed what a strong team they are, powering to a 6-4 lead. The sky blues then scored again to give their fans hope, only for Solihull to put the result beyond doubt in the last five minutes when City were down to tem men.

Solihull showed they are the team to beat whilst showing the Coventry players how to battle.

Pre Season

The Manager was content with the preseason build up as we had some pleasing performances against some decent teams even when we experimented with some player's positions. So now we can go into the season proper showing nice shape and plenty of ability and potential
