Directors of local companies and other donors have been proud to offer support to the club knowing that the funds will be benefiting a healthy sporting arena, keeping youngsters off the streets and focusing their energy on developing team spirit and leadership skills essential in today’s world.
Currently, Coventry City Ladies’ FC provides a fun and competitive football environment for 200 girls aged 8 to 38. The club culture insists on fair play and high values and as a result we continue to attract quality players.
Our goal is to achieve the highest level Charter Standard. This will place the club within the few dozen ‘elite’ amateur clubs in the UK. We also plan to gain the Investors in People award. This would be rare for a football club and most likely the first for a ladies’ club. It is this kind of planning that our committee believes is essential for the girls’ development, not only for their playing career, but to develop essential skills to prepare them for life at school, university and work.
Coventry City Ladies’ FC has an impressive past of which everyone in the club is extremely proud. More important though to the present members is the future. And that’s where you can make a big difference by being a sponsor.
