To read the match report click here. 21 December 09 - County CupThe Coventry City Ladies County Cup third round tie at home to Leamington Lions did not go ahead as planned today but the Sky Blues were awarded the tie as the visitors forfeited the match. City will now go into the hat for the fourth round which is scheduled to be played on the 17th of January. Emily Hanson scored City's only goal as the Sky Blues gave a good account of themselves. City now begin to focus on their third round FA Cup tie at home to Derby next week. To read a preview click here. 29 November 09 - FA Cup drawHistory has repeated itself, just as Coventry played the Leicester City Women in the 3rd round last year, they will face the team that pipped them to promotion the previous season again! After being runners up to Leicester in 2008, the Sky Blues were defeated 3-1 by them in the Cup later that year. Derby stole promotion from the Sky Blues in their final game in 2009 and in two weeks time City will host them in the third round of the Cup.
